International Visitors Information

Arriving to Lisbon

 

- International flights available from all over the world fly to Lisbon Airport;

- Lisbon airport is located in the centre of the city with taxi and bus services available;

- International flights available also from all over the world to Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, Porto and to Faro airport;

- Lisbon is approximately at a 3hrs drive from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport and from Faro airport. Train and bus from Porto and Faro are available;

- Domestic flights can also be booked.

Visa Information

 

EU residents from countries belonging to the Schengen Agreement do not require Visa neither passport to enter Portugal. British citizens will need a valid passport to enter. 

Non-EU residents will need a Portugal Visa called Schengen Visa and a valid passport.

For more information on how and where to obtain  a Visa please visit Portal das Comunidades Portuguesas. We recommend that you allow for a minimum of 1 to 2 months to have your Visa processed by the Portuguese Embassy in your country of residence.
